Call to Repentance

Hey I love you all. sorry I didnt write yesterday. We actually changed our P day to tuesday this week. We are going to the musuem today it should be kinda cool. And yesterday I went to the line in the morning and left my comp with another Elder. then went to the internet to write their parents.... and were disobedient and stayed longer then they should have.... I love how in there culture obedience is the last thing that is important.... anyways I thought about writing you, cuz I had permision to say that today we were going to write. but my comp was jonesing to get back to the computer. so to not reward him. I didnt write you yesterday...

reading all you letters today, youve got me crying here in the comp. lab... haha, I love you all and I worry for my sis but I know that God will protect here and that she and Hudson will be blessed. I really dont know what to write today.... I just love you all and want you all to be happy.... Also I want you all to read the scripture everynight.... Mother your doing a good job.... Father I hope your doing it... if not repent and get to work.... Little brother youve got no excuss. Before I came on the mission for 2 years. I read my scriptures everynight...... grantid I didnt read alot but I read, you can do better then me and you should study it so that you can actually learn something from it.... How about we read it together... everyday we read 1 chapter. Thats like 5 minutes maximum. Then each sunday you write me a quick letter about what you read and learned and in my letter I will write what I learned. That way you go out in the field super prepared. How about we start in Alma 19 this week so by next monday youll have read to alma 26..... cuz thats were im at. And right now Im actually studying the new testiment but also ready the bofm cuz its sumamente importante. Sisters your husbands are returned missionaries. If they dont read everyday scold them and tell them they are sinners.... maybe that we help.... with those two though I think its a lost cause.... youll have more success hearding cats.... or pushing a rope then you will with those two.... JK I love You cuñados your good guys... mads and Jay read the scriptures.... just do it. aight..... ya feel me...... ya smell what Im steppin in..... ya got what Im layin down.... read the scrips.... cuzins, aunts, and uncles.... hold to the Rod..... Gramsy... your amazing and an example to all of us.

Next Item of business. How often do you go to the temple... We live a whole block away.... I know its far and the special effects arent that cool. Especially in the part were the earth blows up. they need an updated vesion of that but.... its how we are endowed with power from on high.... does that make sense to anyone... I feel that if it did, we would go to the temple more.... literally we are given power and protection each time we enter, .... this parts important.... ,pay attention, and try to be spiritualy enriched and blessed. As we do this we unite our purpose with Gods purpose... we become one with him and will be blessed eternaly for the labor we do here. Family..... aunts, uncles, cuzins all of you that are above 12 years of age. Go to the temple and go often.... Dad mom.... once a week.... Isaac.... once a week, get some of your freinds together and go baptise people... You have a year before you go on the miss and the devil will be working hard... as you go to the temple the spirit will reside with you and as it says in D and C 59 And that thou mayest more fully keep thyself aunspotted from the world, thou shalt go to the house of bprayer. Although it may be talking her about the chapel, with temple attendence we also have  the same promise. Isaac it is super important that right know you can go to the temple. That you can in the world but not of it.

I love you all, as a family.... as a gaint family of 30 something cousins, aunts, uncles, grandma and fin. We must live the Gospel..... and live it 100 percent. there is no excuss and there is no blessing greater then the joy that comes from the love of god, that is bestowed upon us as we learn to combine our purpose with that of God "For behold, this is my awork and my bglory—to bring to pass the cimmortality and deternal elife of man." We must strive for not only our salvacion and more importantly exaltacion but of those we love, have loved, and will ever love and hold dear to us.

May the peace of the Lord be upon you,

Peace, Love, and Jay.... keep your legs crossed..... youve only got 2 weeks left

Letter to a friend

Sorry I may write to you about god abit, but thats kinda my job for the next.... rest of my life. haha. as Christ said we speak of what we know, and right know its the only thing I think about. presbytarian is an interesting Religion acutally one of the  most important religions in the restoration of the church of Jesus Christ of Latterday saint. the prophets have said that the founder. was guided by god. The funny thing about God is if we dont bother him, he doesnt bother us. He has given us our free agency to choose what we want and do what we want, if we do good things he blesses us... period. Ive talked to and taught alot of people that never had God growing up and sometimes the run into him when they find something hard in there life and other times they go there entire life happy and not effected at all be religion you could say. the benifts of going to church are numerous. it teaches us to be humble, meek, lowly of heart, loving, to have chartiy, to serve, and the most important to believe. Religion is the thing that lets people believe that they can change, we are week, as humans we have weekness, as a person having bone and flesh we have temptation... it natural. we are stronger then any temptetion that enfronts us. and we can overcome all of them. because of the body we have been given. But there are 2 things that we cant. overcome. that is death. and sin. religion is based upon those 2 fundamental things. And the blessing is that we can have the asurity. not just the hope but the knowldege that we can be free from sin... spotless. though my sins be as scarlet they shall be3 as white as snow though they be as crimson they shall be as wool. or something like that haha. not really sure cuz i always read it in spanish now adays. Through christ and only through him we can raise from the dead, into a perfect state, and a perfect body, to never tast of death again. We can enjoy imortality... all of us will be blessed with that. sinners and saints. but to be free of sin we must take christ upon us... why do we want to be free from sin.... so that we can return to the presence of God and The biggest blessing in this life and the life to come is our family. they have taught us how to love, cherish, and feel. and if we are free from sin and enter into the presence of God we can have our family for the eternities. forever. Thats the whole plan man. Family are important, and God wants us to have them forever. I love you bro, I know that the passing of your father was something that for you was the hardest thing upuntil this point of your life.... God heals that, and will let you see him and be in his presence once again.
anyways, sorry the letter doesnt say all that much but thats ill ive got right now. We play ball every mornign at 6, people are crazy here and its some serious fouls. we have 3 bap. bor the end of the month. well see if they come through. anywyas. love you all
peace, love and sorry for the letter

Peace, Love, and Get to work

This week was a good one, we teach alot of people but that doesnt mean that alot of people are progressing. We did have a bap. this week which was cool. The lady is super cool but had alot of daught (or something like that). Anways she wasnt going to get bap. then we gave her along talk and that night she prayed and started to read in Ezequel. She read about how there is only good and bad and only 2 paths. Then in her catholic bible it said to go to chap. 33. Well she decided if the BofM was the word of God it would say the same in page 33.... weird deduction. but in page 33 nephi is talking about there is only 2 churches the church of god or of satan.... well what up, her prayer was answered... or something like that haha. then we came back the next day. put a bap. date for 2 days out. and were going to have the interview the following day. Well we put in work and used alot of cool scriptures to help her decide to get bap. but in the night she was scared again. then her son without nowing she was going to get bap. went her a mail saying that that day was going to be a special day and that she was going to have the oppurtunity to do something that she had fear of but that if she did it she would be blessed. Anyways the bap. was good.

we had stake conference on sunday... it was yummy, medium rare... flame cooked. But no it actually was pretty good. the pres. of the mision, stake and san diego temple gave good talks. I really enjoyed the talk  by the temple pres. He spoke about the temple cov. and Elijah and his profecy. that upon the temple cov. the hearts of the fathers would be turned to the sons. and that that came to pass april 3. Actually in the jewish passover they leave a seat and glass of wine open at the end of the temple for the coming of elijah. Interesting to know that the 3rd of april was the 2nd day of the passover.

Anyways, I love the gospel and it is fun to see how everything naturally just falls into place. The profecies of old come to pass, and that honestly you can show that the church is true. But the most wonderful of all is that God lives, and loves us. He lets us feel that love and know of his existance. He guides and directs us in all aspects of our lives, and as we study the scriptures, go to church and kneel down in humble prayer we can shorten the gap between us and him. Joseph Smith is a testiment of that. He was given the urim and thumim and as he closed the gap between him and God. He stopped using it. There was no need for it. He could recieve rev. directly from God. because he knew how to find it. Let us all search for the same rev. and inspiration in our lives. Parents you live 30 sec. from the temple.... every week, even if you have to wake up early or sacrifice 3 hours in the middle of your day.... go to the temple it is the house of God.

Love you all.

Alright, its alittle late some Im going to keep it short. But.... Basically I love you all,
To start it all off, the area is really cool. Its got a nice vibe to it. Alittle more or less like hey all the people are super slow here and have alot of drug damage kind of a vibe but its a nice one. We put in work this week. Before the missionaries were having like 35 lessons each week, and the kid that just got changed out of here , went up to AP. So I put in 45 lessons this week. It was fun to report our numbers. And made me feel good. Elder Lara stayed with us till Sat. in the moring. Friday he had his interview with the pres, and there the pres ayed he would be going home. After that I had an interview with the pres. to talk about some of the stuff that has been happening here in the mission haha. He began to show me alot of bad things that some of the missionaries were doing, anyways it was super lame to see that alot of my companions in the mission havent. decided to be obediente. Im guessing they will be sent home to here shortly. The mission is a place to serve the lord.... nothing else. So Z get prepared to enjoy being really obedient for 2 years. Honestly its not hard to be obedient. The lord blesses us when we are and being obedient doesnt maen you cant have fun. I have a blast every day. You just need to know when to be serius and also know were the line is. So that you never even get close to it.
Other then that, I ate alot of Tacos this week. They were all super good. I ate tacos de Adobada y carne asada y chorrizo y birria. Basically all super delicious. My favs. would be Adobada which is a meat soaked in a chile and tomate Im guessing sauce and then laid in stripes and made into a meat stump then cooked. Its super delicios. And well Birria also is super good. Its a sweat meat that is boiled and pulled apart. It is super deliciuos. Also one of our investigators gave us some tamales. The best ones Ive ever had.... Super amazing. Meat, with Holy herb )not sure what it actually is in english its just cald Herba santa) and cheese. with a red sauce. And then we had Tamales de dulce. Which is straight corn..... there is no flour or anything. You cut corn off the cob, and add butter and cream and then cook it in corn ears and it turns out amazing... absolutly amazing haha.
There area is good here, there is a gaint hill and we are right next to the boarder. Im were the line meets San Diego. there is also the only road the is prohibited to go on here in my sector. Ill tell you how it is when I check it out.   NO just kidding its just a bunch of bars and strip clubs so that would be why I will not be going there.
Other then that life is good. Today we had to go clean some missionary apartment. They left in abondando for 2 months, there was still food in the microwave... solid mold. Fruit in the fridge.... solid mold. Chines food on the counters.... anyways it was gross but its now super clean... then after all that we dropped 2 elderes off in Rosarito and drove back on the beach.... super pretty then we went to the plaza Rio in downtown Tij. and I think I going to buy some new shoes there.... they are super sweet. full leather shoes with a natural leather sole. resined with some root from argentina... anyways they were way good looking and like 50 bucks so Ill get them before I come home Im sure...
Love you all tons
Peace, Love, and The dog looks like a great dog pops.  (Grizz the new hound)
