Back in TJ

Aight so right now im in Tij. again, I got transfered out of Mexicali which is alright, I really enjoyed itin Mexicali, its not to pretty but I enjoyed the ward alot and my companion alot. We had alot of fun and had alot of success. right now im in the zone Tijuana, Tijuana. Its right in the middle and Ive got well the worst part of Tij in my sector, not poor or anything like that haha just like a las vegas down town, more getto obviously and with less money, but also less clothing haha. We actually cant even get close to the so it alright. I just got here this morning and Im super tired, I didnt sleep all that much last night, and then had to carry alot of luggage, I also brought 80 pounds of weights to do excercise so that didnt make the baggage any lighter.

This week was super cool. Monday we went to the mall and just walked around loving life, went back to work and actually went to the house of a super rich member... she actually baptised the mom of my companion, so its kinda a cool story. she was a missionary in yucatan. Anyways, Wednesday we had a baptism of some kid. Eli he is 28 and was one of the best soccer players in Mex. until his uncle put a hit out for his head. Leaving him crippled and with alot a of scares including some mental damage. He got bap, then slowly lifted his hands up in the air.... it was super cimatic and funny.

Then on Friday we had another a young man that is 15 years old. He is super cool, and said he didnt want anyone from the ward to bap. him, just me. So that was cool. Usually I never bap. I always make a member do it. but sometimes its fun anyways. His fam, was all there and Im sure his mom will not wait to long before she gets bap. We only had him in teaching for 3 weeks, and haveonly taught his mom once but she came to church sunday and said she would be back next week.

That same night we went with Lizzeth, an investigat that we have had for along long time. 4 months, she is super cool, and helps us out aton. She lives with her sis. who is a member, But anyways, she kept putting up aton of barriars to be bap. Everyone Ive ever hear.... I was born catholic, Im scared, my fam doesnt want me too.... on and on. The last 2 weeks we have passed everyday with here and talked about bap. so we could dunk her before the transfer. Well this last week, we taught super powerful and she cried everyday we were in here house. Its amazing to watch the spirit. Then thursday night, she had a dream that she called us up and told us she wanted to get bap. Friday again she still didnt want to. But we talked with her for 2 hours.... A super long time and in the end we asked her to get bap. the next day. we sat in silence for 10 mins. then I asked if we could say a prayer, I said a prayer and we sat for another 5 mins. Then she said... no well no...... mejor no.... well yeah???????? what kind of an answer is that... I had to ask her. does that mean yas or no then. Anyway she said yes and then didnt sleep the entire night because she was so scared. She also asked that I did the bap. And it went super well, the spirit was super strong and everyone was crying.

We got out of the bap. went to her house and gave her somepresents... a cake, a guitar, a picture, and some letters Her whole famlily was super happy. Her sister was even happier then she was.

Sunday I just went and said goodbye to people and ate cake with the sister sandra. She will probably come see us in the temple when we come back in Dec.

Anyways, Loving life. and I love you all. Im here in a threesome right now with Elder Alfaro, A ZL, funny guy, good guy and Elder Lara, we are babysitting him. Im guessing he will be going home here in acouple days, although he doesnt know that yet.

Love you tone,

Peace, Love, and Take care.

Que Hubo?

Que Hubo?

This week went well, my comp feels alittle better... I think.... Honestly I think he is fine and isnt sick at all. He was kinda babied as a kid so he thinks everything is a symptom that he is dying. Im sure he has a headache because its really hot here and he doesnt drink enough water. But we went and got the culture test done for ricketsia. or rocky mountain spotted fever. it is a 15 day culture so he wount have his results done for awhile. We will see, when I was in insurjentes I remmber that he said he had an allergy to the sun, that when he walked outside his skin itched..... he spent like 200 dolars in doc. appointments they said it was nothing, but Im 100 percent sure that he just had dry skin and it itched when he sweated, haha. Last night he took his temp, and thought he was going to die, "Hey man, its at 37, what do I do man, lets go to the doc, Im super sick" " bro your not sick" "what do you mean Im not sick, it says it right here 37"  "man, 37 is what you should be, your fine and you dont have a fever" "hmmm I guess Im not sick then"

We had a good week, we had a bap. on saturday, It was actually pretty cool, its a kid that thinks he is super tough, but he was crying in his bap. haha, its cool to see the lord work, I always love it, he is just a kid 11 yrs. old but i hope he can stay strong in the church, it will mean the ward needs to work alot, because his fam, has alot of problems and doesnt that that he can change... so they kinda put him down. His mom wants to get bap, but needs to get married first. We will see how that goes. But I really enjoyed the bap. then on sunday we sang in the choir haha, it was pretty fun, we practiced with them 3 times, saturdays in the morning, it was pretty fun. We have helped this ward become more united, its been cool to see the changes, its taken alot of work but its been worth it. The bad part is that Im headed out on monday Im pretty sure, Im not sure where Im going yet but, its time for me to go. Actually some sister in the ward told another that she wanted me to be her son in law... why she would say that, Im not sure, but that it caused a ruckess here in the ward, that Im sure of. It would be cool if she had a really good looking daughter, but.... well she doesnt. So its kinda a bummer there. haha, but yeah, so Im ready to get away from all the gossip. Ill miss my comp though, he is a good guy,

Tuesday and Wednesday the Assistents came and stayed in the house haha, that was pretty fun, we just stayed up all night telling jokes and talking about good times. It was pretty fun, except that our house was super hot and they put my fan on them so I slept super terribly, The pres bought us a new air conditioner but its 220 V. not 110 and so we cant use it, we need to go excahnge it.Tuesday we had the zone conf. that was fun then in the night we had the mothly stake reporte. I did a compilation of the zone since the beg, of jan, until now putting each month juxtaposed (not sure if I used that word right) with each other. Then I put some graphs showing the progress weve made in the zone. The stake pres and the mission pres both said they really liked the format and how clean and easy it was to read. The pres, said that he is going to ask all of the ZLs to do it. So thats always fun. IDK to me it just didnt make any sense to have abunch of numbers that make no sense and have no relation to our actual progress.

We are going to have another 2 bap. this week, and I think we will end with 10 or 11 bap. in the zone So that makes me happy, Im glad to see that the zone is getting batter. When I showed up here we only had 1 bap in the month, and hadnt bap more then that for some months, so we ve made good progress.

This week was 115 degrees, just so you know... thats super hot. really really hot, it feels like your skin is burning off you. We had to bike an hour to go to one of our appointments, literally all of my clothes were drenched in sweat. I drank12 liters of water that day. haha it was super hot. But I actually enjoy it, Ive only got 2 years to enjoy stuff like that.

Hey will someone please send me a pic in the mountains..... someone go enjoy the nature that we have in Utah.... hey if you guys head up little cottonwood right now you can find aton of mountain goats... they are super cool, and alot of moose. It would be alittle better to wait another 3 weeks im guessing cuz we had a good snow year, but thell be up there anyways. Hey mads... I forgot about that in your letter, Ill be hiking in alot of snow up there, all the mountain will be covered, just be careful. and bring the gear that is necesary, dont wimp out because of the weight. And alot of food, itll be a tough hike and youll need alot of energy, dont let collin talk you into doing something dumb, and dont let him do anything alone. He ll have a comp. in a little under a year to go hike with him anyways.

Anyways I love you all tons,

Peace, love, and I hope your elbow is getting better, I think it would be better to just have surgery now.... but that would be a selfish desire, that way when I home youll be alright and we can go play. but with the cortazon shots alone its not going to heal, not with the level of activity you do on it.

Staying close to the Lord

Hey fam damly,
I hope everything over there is doing good. You seemed all good when I saw you on sunday. I was super glad to see your faces, and well Isaac I could only see half your face because of the mop youve got on your head, you look like one of those pack animals that the sherpas use haha. But it was good to see you all. Fin is super huge thats super cool and he waves and blows kisses, haha, Im excited to get to know him. Well yeah ive basically said what there is to say when I talked to you all on sunday. I didnt make it to the bus in time. But I got to TJ around 9 30. jummped in a taxi, just me and another gabacho, gringo, white kid. and showed up at the asistantes flat. Anyways after that I got to talk to the secretaries and the assistents for alittle while. They are all good guys and so I always pass the time well there. Anyways we got to joking around and we caught up on all the times and gossip in the mission, then I hit the sack... or the floor, but it was all good. Oh going there we watched Sherlok holmes 2 and glee haha it was fun, glee is way better after a year and a half in the mission.
Then today in the morning, didnt eat, cuz I didnt have money, we headed to the line... which means that im right on top of the other side, literally its a bridge and i was just chillin on top of of the other side, there is a huge line to get to the US and no one entering the other side haha, its kinda funny.
Anyways after that we went back to the office, back to the line cuz we screwed somthing up there and in the end we went back to the office at around 12. We were chillin there in the office, I was going to stay in Tij till tomorrow but while I was at the line the Pres had a special interview with Elder Castelan, my intrenee, or my kid, he was a zone leader for a well half a transfer before he screwed it up. He was talking to girls on the phone, on stuff like that, going on interchanges and then ditching his companions to go off with some girl. In the end she got mad at him for something he said, she called the cops and call the pres. and well. thats the story. The pres. told me that Id be talking him back to my zone and that he would be in a trio with one of our district leaders. And that hed be there as minor. anyways super lame news. They also found him with an Ipod and internet..... It honestly makes me super frustrated to see that they just dont understand and they take there mission as a joke.... super lame
But Im doing good, on the way back we watched jack and jill and then one called warrior they were both good. Its funny Im like a super costumer on the buses. they give the the control to pick the movie, the climate, the volume. Its pretty cool. Ill be headed back in 2 weeks im guessing in tranfers. Im not looking forward to leaving, Id love to stay here 1 more transfer. But well have to see, id highly dought it. LIfes great,
Peace, love, and on the pursuit of happiness.... the only thing that counts is staying close to the lord, and doing as he says.
    Love you all

My English is MELTING Down.

What up fam,
Life here on this side of the line is pretty good. My comp is pretty sick but he is doing alright. Well the Doc says he is sick but he seems to be alright to me. His tests came back pos. for typhoid and samonila and they think that he has Yellow fever or something like that, but im pretty sure they are all wrong. My comp already has had typhoid and samonila so they would show up pos anyways and his head is the only thing that hurts. But anyways, the ward is all freaked out, they want to make us eat in our house, and haha its a big show to be honest.
Other then that, Jose Luis and Emanuel were bap. this weekend, saturday. The bap. was way cool, well really I just like bap. There was only 2 people from the ward there so that was a lil lame. But all his fam were there and thats what counts. there brother Miguel Angel was scared to have the interview so he didnt get bap. then on sunday the primery pres. gave him a pretty good lecture about behavior so I would be suprised to see him in the church again. But well keep trying. There mom wants to get bap now that she say her kids get dunked. only prob. is she isnt married and does drugs. So thats not going to happen anytime soon. We will work on it but well have to see.
Hey Disneyland... J is talking to me right now about it. We need to go to the san diego temple while we are down there too, and sea world would be cool no? not really sure but I like whales. Oh and did those Orthotics ever get sent? just a question
Anyways, onto different subjects. yesterday, I was lecturing the bishop because we havent had ward council in 7 weeks, so nothing is happing in the ward. Well a brother from the other stake gave my comp a call. What happened is that his dad in law is dieing he has an embolia and is going to die. He has been talking with the missionaries, and wanted to get bap. before he dies. Anways, the member had already talked to the bishop of Robledo, and had made all the arangments, he just needed us to do the interview and the permision to do the bap. Well haha,  the other missionaries were way mad because after all there teaching they didnt get to baptize the old man, He came here bacause it is actually his ward and was only living in the other area for a time. And two missionaries from our zone without every teaching or meeting the man, got to bap him. Well actually 4 people were in the font. His son in law had in held up and the two missionaries had his feet and his grandson did the bap. Then the son dunked himself while also dunking his dad in law haha. It was pretty cool. The mission pres, gave us permission and everything. it was a funny experience
Other then that, today we are headed to Tij, for Zone leader Conference, the only good part about that is the bus ride and the movies haha. Im doing good here, Im not to sick dont worry just some molestia here and there, but Im doing good. We ate some good tasting fish this week, They sister was saying oh Im so sorry, your comp is sick so we are just going to eat fish and salad, I know its terrible because it doesnt have any grease, but its the only thing he can eat.... What is she talking about... Im not big into the grease. and I love fish and salad. Anyways life is good.
I love you all super tons
Peace, Love, and Have fun this week
