Kinda inbetween

Alright, this week went super..... well actually it didnt go well nor did it go badly, just kinda inbetween. To start it all off, we painted the house monday, that did go well, it was fun and then we watched Ralph the demolisher or something like that on a projector there in the house, it was pretty fun, the movie is cool. Im guessing youve all seen it, but if not, its def. one that you should go watch. The movies a good in spanish but the humor is always alot better in english. because the show was made to be watched in english, so Ill be excited to see it again when I get home. Anyways after that, we were supposed to have a bap. tues. or actually 3 but the mom of 2 of the kids said no, and the other said he wasnt prepared. Super bummer. we switched the bap. for sat. and worked super hard to help them all be prepared. but it didnt work out. We took them to another bap. to see it and passed by everyday. but whatever. 1 will get bap. this sat. I think and the other 2 Im not sure, there mom is a super drugy and is cheating on her husband. So thats super lame. But we are working with them all.

    Other then that, well it super hot here. 102 degrees today, and not that cold in the night time either. But I guess there really isnt much we can do about that, we just keep working I guess. Im kinda sick, Im guessing because of the heat, and that I dont really sleep at night, in this heat. The wife of the pres, said that it wasnt going to be hot for another 2 weeks, so she isnt going to bring an airconditioner for another 2 weeks. But lifes good, Ill make it through another summer here. I think.... I hope.... we ll see. I think Ill actually only be her for another 4 weeks, then Ill be transfered, thats the thought atlest. but It might not happen, or maybe Ill be changed to the other stake here in Mex.

     This sunday was pretty funny though. the 1st couselor called us and said that one of the people that was going to talk might not show up to sac. meeting, and he said that if she didnt show up then we would have to talk. I kindly offered that my companion would gladly talk. Anyways, we figured out who was going to talk and then we got to work... doing everything we needed to so that she would show up to church. We actually used her for our ride in the morning to go pick up some investigators. Well we got to church and she was there ready to give her talk and then the bishop announced that my comp. would be talking haha. He was super mad. After sac. meeting, he got up and started contending with the bishop, it was quite the show. The bishop now hates my comp. but still loves me so we are doing alright.

     Other then all that, life is good. The Lord loves us, and is there for whatever we need. He listens to our prayers and knows us personally, He is our father, our God, our everything.

It's HOT

Hey fam,

    Hows life going on that side of the line, here it is ..... Hot really really hot. Actually I burnt my face this week. but Im trying to be better and put on a ton of sunscreen. We will see how it works out. Its like 100 degrees here. My comp and me are doing good. This week we worked super hard, and had good success. taught 44 lessons which is pretty good for here in Mexico, we are going to have 3 bap. this tuesday, I hope. the parents might cut it off but we will have to see. The grandma is a member and will help them go to church but its still a difficult situation. they are terrible to teach. Id imagine pops about like teaching the sunbeams, but we bring alot of treats and it kinda works.
   

     yesterday the President came here to do a training conference in the stake center, the conference went really well, the stake pres taught the missionaries and the mis. pres the members showing that we need to be united. They both did good. Afterward the pres brought us to the house and we invited him to eat haha. we had chips, ginger al and icecream it was pretty good, and its always fun to have the pres in the house, last time he was there, I showed him some of my pics and he still doesnt believe that that was me before the mission. Ive changed alittle here, but no worries Im still your son and I still love you tons

   As a Zone we are doing way better we have 9 bap. so far this month and so we are getting way better. Im glad to see that the zone is getting better. Dont worry about me here, I may do alot of dumb things, but Im safe here, and I have alot of fun.

Anyways life is super good.

     Oh good news here, and bad news.... mainly bad news, we will have 50 sister missionaries here, and the mission is now opening up to sister mis. from the US. kinda cool but Im alittle worried its not the safest place in the world for women, and they made new positions in the mission, Sister training leaders or something like that. Its kinda weird to see women with power, even though they are still below the district leader in there sector they are over all the sister missionaries in the zone or actually area, Tij, and Ens. anyways life is good

Thankgoodness

Man, super bummer about your elbow, that doesnt sound fun at all. I hope its better before I get home, I want somebody to play raquetball with.... even though Im sure you can school me with yourleft hand. This week went well, We had 6 baptisms in the zone which makes me super happy. The last couple months we havent been doing so well so I hope that this month we can change all that. But as of right now we are doing better. Today we have transfers. Me and my comp are staying together. Thankgoodness. Hes  a good guy and we are getting some new missionaries in the zone. I hope they all work but Im not sure how well its going to go. Actually we are opening up a new sector here in the zone. Thats kinda cool and usually when you open up a new area you baptize alot so I hope to see progress there. Tuesday we had interviews with the president. It went really well, we talked about life, love and the pursuit of happiness. Well really we talked about the zone, and my beautiful family and in the end we started talking about a question I had.... it had to do with the atonement of Christ, Gods power (that comes by the honer,obedience, that all things give to him) and how to be a better leader. Well I must be a super sinner because as he talked I started getting way light headed and the world started to spin. The Pres stoped talking and asked me if I was alight.... yeah Im good pres.... are you sure... yep Im good.... Alright thats I lie, Im fainting sorry, can we open the window. Anyways it was super weird. But everything is good, maybe it was because of the heat or that I hadnt eaten or that we hadnt bought water for a week. Not sure but it reminded me of when I fainted in surgery haha. We talked for 30 mins there then my comp went in and only talked for 3 minutes.... haha he came out and was super mad haha. Its cuz he got a phone call from D.F. but my comp wasnt happy haha.

Then on wednesday we had a training that we had to give and at like 1130 at night on tuesday one sister sent us a text that she had been fighting with her kids and how bad her kids where. So I stayed up till 1 in the morning writing a pretty good letter, telling her to repent, and change her ways haha. It came out super well. I pulled out some scriptures from mormon, moroni and Ether. Anyways all and all it came out pretty well. But in the training, I could barely think, let alone train about somthing. But I did alright, and my comp did good. I tore into some of the Elders there, they showed up without there suit and then we had a practice of the second lesson and they didnt know how to teach it (alot of the elders never teach that lesson) anyways it was fun.

Other then that, life is good here. We scraped off the crap on the ceiling with water no worries, and this morning I wiped down some of the house with water but they used a paint that comes off with water so.... well thats lame.

Alright, all is good here in Mexico. Weve had a really good week. Conference was amazing and well weve been super busy this week. Like I said in my last letter we are changing houses, or changed better said. Friday we movied everything to the other house

and we gave our old house over to the owner yesterday, I feel kinda bad we didn{t have anytime to clean the house and so its a super mess. But I guess there isnt much I can do about that. The new house is nice, its got 3 bedrooms and 1 and a half bathrooms its 2 stories and is in a nice location, the president just didnt like were we lived before. The bad part about our new house is that for 1 we need to put everything in order and for 2 well its super dusty right now. we scraped off all the paint or foam from the cieling last week and so there is still alot of dust in the house. we keep cleaning but it just keeps coming back the problem is that its also on all the walls, we washed down acouple today hopefully it helps cuz it been killing me. Oh he could you send me some allergy medicacion. That would be sweet. and also a new chip for my camera. Dont send it till I give you the address though. this next week is the transferes. I{m guessing Ill be here again, and if so Ill have you send the box to a member here that has a pobox on the other side that way I get it in 3 days and not 3 months. Anyways, I think that is all I need to be honest.

   We don{t really have any good investigators. But we are working in that right now. we found a family this week. the grandma is a member and her grandkids arent so that is a potential investigator there. But to be honest the really isnt much that is  going on here. Id like to say that we have something way sweet but we really dont, the zone this week should heave 9 baptisms I really hope so, we will probalby only have 5 though. But as long as we baptise ill be happy. Weve been doing good, but we need to get better.

I tore a gaint hole in my super nice suit pants yesterday on the bike, I was riding and the handle bars fell off haha, so then I couldn{t ride with my hands and next thing you know my pants caught the crank and tore all the way up the leg, I got them sown up, cuz it is my best suit. I dont think Ive ever sent a pic in it but it looks good no worries.

Better late than never and a New House

Alright, to start, sorry that i havent written yet, and sorry that this message will be really short but ive been super busy this week. Friday of last week we found a new house, and so we are in the process of changing houses right now but wow its a pretty big process. To start there was a little bit of water damage in the house, and they had put up some foam paint stuff that was super dirty gross and nasty, so monday we scraped the entire house clean, which took.... along time. Then today we cleaned everything and painted... its been pretty fun to be honest, and good to experiment in a house that is not mine. We did good work, but to be honest the level of quility if way different between here and well Utah.... We asked some people from the ward to help us and they painted the wall more then they did the cealing... which they werent suppossed to do. And I spent more time cleaning up after them, wipeing paint off of everything, then we did painting the whole house twice. Anyways, Thanks pops for teaching me well, You did a decent job to believe it or not. I still not meet up´to your standards and still may not be man enough to go fish with you but well..... I guess youve always got Isaac.

Anyways, this last week went perfect, we had a baptism that was super cool. we had the bap, planned for saturday, and on wednesday Laura said she was not going to be ther for the hour of the baptism, actaully because she was going to go to a young single adults  conference, then her mom started to say that she wasnt ready to be baptised and so she backed out completely. Well What happened is that she has only been an investigator for 2 weeks, we had only had 3 lessons with her but she is super chosen and super cool so I shared a scripture in the bible about philip and the eunic. anyways she said she wanted to get baptised after we explained that you dont need to have a complete knowledge of the gospel just a desire to do the right thing and follow christ. Anyways she accepted to be baptised, and we decided to do it right when she got home from the conference. The bap, went perfect, she got home from the conference and had 20 of the youth there for her baptism. the entire conference, which was everyone from ensanada to Mexicali saw here bare her testimony in the conference. Anyways the baptism went prefectly...

Monday, I headed to Tijuana for a zone leader conference, which is actaully pretty fun we watched some lame movie going there but we watched the vow coming back... it was actauly not half bad. Anyways the conference went well but I didn{t  sleep worth anything, we got to the assistants appartment and they didn{t have enough mattresses, some elder took some. so I slept on the floor because the bed they told me to sleep in had rat poop on it. My comp slep there and put a blanket on top of the poop, two other people slept on the bed too, The slept less then i did. Anyways it turned out pretty well all in all. They teach the same thing over and over again, which really i don{t enjoy but maybe it just means i need to be more humbil and intune with the spirit.
