Well great, to bapismal dates, two interviews, and neither person showed up. Both said they were scared and not ready. Kinda a bummer, but I guess thats life. Really life is great here though. The sun is getting really hot, the ground is really dry, and the dirt is everywhere. people literally sweep the dirt, because there really is no ground haha. They sweep dirt off dirt :) There is a couple main roads in the area, and so if we drive we are on those roads, also we do have a walmart up the road from us and a little shoping mall. Its like a different world in walmart, all nice and clean. But Walmarts in Mexico are crazy too, because they are blaring music way loud the entire time, and people drive carts like they do cars haha. Oh and if we buy stuff at walmart, we take a taxi home so that our stuff doesnt get stolen. Really though we haven't run into any problems. I can't remember if I put this in my letter. But It's like pac man haha, We get ontop of hills where we can see all that is going on, and plan our route to the next house, avoiding, large sterios, bonfires, and noise. and we look for lights and members houses to run too haha. It's pretty fun, one time we were pretty sketched out because we had to pass this bonfire, and here usually around the fire are drunks and chollos we started getting close and the fire was one street above us. As we watched the fire everybody started to leave and walk towards us.... We were freaking sketching out haha. We started to walk alittle faster, and we looked up towards the fire again... and it was like 10 12 year olds at the fire haha. Nothing to worry about. Really this mission hasn't had anything happen bad in to for a long time. It was worse in Michigan.

The only thing that scares me is the dogs. All day long they are dead as can be, they don't move and lay out in the sun. But when night comes, they think that they own this place. They bark and chase you. fortunatly none have been very big, and we have faught them all off haha but yeah :)

As for the week. Yesterday, we had church and had 4 investigators there, which was way good to see. But after that, Elder Morales had a meeting in Central, Like an hour away. He left, and I spent the whole day with the ward mission leader. Who is a recent convert. So we had some good lessons, my favorite lesson of the week was with him. We were talking to his brother, and sharing the plan of salvation with him. When his brother started asking alot of questions, so I tried to answer as many as I could out of the scriptures. And mainly out of the book of Mormon. After a couple of scriptures he asked if you could find that in the bible. And to be honest I told him no, and then he started talking about how he had seen that the bible had turned some people for the bad. So I showed him 1 nephi 13. which talks about how because the bible has been passed down, and lost things, satan has control over the peoples harts. He was way excited to see that the book of Mormon had all these answers. It was way cool to see the power of the Book of Mormon work on someone like that. Unfortunatly the ward mission leader had something we hard to get to, or else I think we would have another date for baptism. This guy is really receptive to the gospel, and Thats what makes mexico great. People really do want to learn about christ and change their lives. Hopefully we can bring them that opportunity.

As for more then that. I love you all tons.

Peace, love, and Man, I want to take a shower that doesn't smell like junk, and one that bugs don't fall out of the shower head.
